LocalTag.in makes it simple to find — and be found by — trusted local vendors nearby. Here's how the whole journey works, for both customers and business owners.

For customers

  1. Search — Type what you need (electrician, tiffin, salon, plumbing, and more) or just browse a category from the home page.
  2. Find Nearby — Share your location once and LocalTag shows verified vendors within a radius you choose, from 500 meters up to 30 km, ranked by genuine community ratings.
  3. Connect & Go — Chat on WhatsApp, call directly, or get one-tap directions in Google Maps. No middlemen, no booking fees.

Verified reviews you can trust

Reviews aren't just typed in and posted. Scan the vendor's QR code during your visit before leaving a review, and it gets tagged Verified Customer — keeping fake reviews out and genuine feedback front and center.

Karma-based ratings

Every upvote, downvote, and verified review changes a vendor's Karma — an internal trust score with no monetary value. Higher Karma unlocks trust badges like Rising Star, Trusted Seller, Super Seller, and VIP Seller, so you can spot reliable vendors at a glance. See the full breakdown on our FAQ page.

For vendors — listing your business

  1. Sign up on LocalTag with your Google account and choose "Become a Vendor."
  2. Fill in your shop details — business name, category, location, pricing, and timings.
  3. Complete a quick KYC by scanning or uploading your Aadhaar QR code.
  4. Verification is automatic — no waiting on admin approval. As soon as it's verified, your shop goes live and customers can start discovering it.

Your privacy, always

Your email is kept private and never shown publicly — your public profile uses a randomly generated username instead. Live location is used only to show nearby results and is never permanently stored. Read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
